Macbeth

Touring Education Show

Who is scarier: the monster in the woods, or the man on the throne?

The supernatural meets Southern Gothic in CSC's Macbeth as ambitions rise, darkness sets in, and magic itself seeks revenge.

Set against the backdrop of Southern Gothic America, with inspiration drawn from American Folklore, Macbeth follows a man promised a sudden rise to power by three unknown mystical beings. As Macbeth's ambitions tempt him towards dark acts, who will oppose him in his search for power, and who will be caught in the crossfire?

Macbeth opens September 29th, and tours throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.
